The TBZ Housing Justice Action Group is engaged in building and ensuring a diverse, welcoming, and affordable community for all. Currently, we are focusing on housing justice in Brookline, though we can also connect folks with similar groups in nearby cities and towns. We have worked to learn about the devastating legacy of enforced racial segregation and discrimination, and this knowledge drives our organizing and legislative efforts to reform restrictive zoning laws and similar policies that limit building the new, mixed-income, affordable housing that we believe Brookline needs.
We are actively looking for TBZ members who share our belief that everyone benefits when each of us has a liveable and affordable place to live.
