Mishpachot: For Parents and their Young People

For Parents and their Young People

Parents, toddlers, kids, and teens will all find something for them at TBZ! On Shabbatot without WonderMinyan, we provide childcare so that parents can come to TBZ regularly and be in community. In addition, there are usually many older kids hanging around who would be happy to play with your young child!

WonderMinyan – Shabbat and Holiday musical services twice a month for ages 0-4 and their parents, grades K-3, and grades 4-7. At WonderMinyan, young Jews begin to learn Shabbat morning and holiday prayers, the weekly parsha (Torah portion) through stories and plays, as well as build a community of friends.

Holiday Programming (For All Ages) including: Sukkot On The Farm, Simchat Torah, Family Tu Bishvat Seder, Hamantaschen Baking, Purim, and much more.

L’Dor V’Dor Intergenerational Shabbat: Intentional and participatory services (1-2 times a year).

Mitzvah Events, such as the Ride for Food with JF&CS and the Walk for Hunger

The TBZ Community Retreat on Cape Cod: Once a year, TBZ comes together at a nature retreat center to celebrate Shabbat. Activities include singing, learning, games, yoga, and being together out-of-doors. Come for all of Shabbat or just for the day. This is a great way to get to know other kids and families. People of all ages are welcome.
