Contemplative Shabbat Morning Service with Nishmat Hayyim

April 9, 2022
10:00 am - 11:30 am

Contemplative Shabbat, April 9, Shabbat HaGadol

Spend Shabbat morning in community. Our morning service is offered both in-person and on Zoom.

Please see our weekly Happenings email or call the office (617) 566-8171 for the Zoom link.

What happens when we bring our full attention to each moment of the Shabbat Service, to each piece of the Shabbat morning liturgy? On this Shabbat before Passover, we are guided by our contemplative practice to explore the inner experience of freedom and enslavement as an entry way to prepare for the holiday.

Come join us for a special Shabbat service.  Share the full beauty of Shabbat in prayer, chant, study, meditation, and good fellowship.  The two-hour morning service will begin at 10:00 AM following a 9:00 AM Torah Study with Reb Moshe Waldoks.

Experience the power of Jewish contemplative prayer through chant and davvening.

Deepen your relationship to and understanding of Torah.

   Stay for a Kiddish lunch!

This contemplative Shabbat, supported/sponsored by the Nishmat Hayyim Project at TBZ, is open to everyone to attend in person with the requirement, if you are age eligible, to be fully vaccinated including a COVID booster. (click HERE for our TBZ COVID protocols).  Feel free to bring your friends and family members (again with the requirement to be fully vaccinated including a COVID booster) who have been searching for a way to integrate their meditation and Jewish practices.
