Over the past few months, we brought the dire issues around state-owned Public Housing upkeep to the State Legislature. We moved the needle and increased funding for operating budgets– but not nearly enough! We can still influence legislators before final budget negotiations close. We must keep pressing for better conditions for the folks who live in unsafe and unsanitary state funded homes.
