 around state-owned Public Housing upkeep to the State Legislature. We mo
 ved the needle and increased funding for operating budgets-- but not near
 ly enough! We can still influence legislators before final budget negotia
 tions close.  We must keep pressing for better conditions for the folks 
 who live in unsafe and unsanitary state funded homes.\n\nNOW is the time
