In Hebrew, we use the same word for song and poem – “shir”. Popular Israeli songs often cite and refer to other hits. You’re invited to join Dr. Miriam Rosalyn Diamond as we read, discuss, and listen to the lyrics of recordings that inspire and respond to each other. (We will examine the works in both Hebrew and English, so knowledge of Hebrew is not required.) You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you wish. The link will be sent to those who register.
