The Tent Open House (in person at Temple Israel, Boston)

The Tent is Temple Israel’s Jewish learning community for teens across Greater Boston. We welcome all teens in grades 8–12, offering a space to explore ideas, build community, and grow as learners, thinkers, and young Jews.

At this Open House and info session, families will:

• Learn about The Tent and what to expect as students join. We’ll have conversations geared towards the 8th grade experience, but also 9th-12th grade at The Tent
• Explore additional opportunities, including Madrichim, RYFTI (our youth group), and travel programs
• Connect with other teens and parents, with time for both joint and separate conversations

We look forward to welcoming anyone interested in learning more about The Tent!

6:35 – 7:25 Info session (schedule of the tent, structure of the evening, trips we go on, teachers we hire, OWL, highlights of the curriculum, FAQs), and Confirmation info session.

7:25 – 7:35 Snack

7:37 – 8:30 Parent program, Sample class for 7th graders, 8th-11th graders pick an elective
