hosted by the GBIO Housing Justice Teams of TBZ Brookline & United Parish of Brookline
with Rav Claudia and Pastor Kent French offering prayers
GBIO has adopted a statewide Housing Justice Campaign focused on public housing, affordable rental and homeownership opportunity, and housing access. We define Housing Justice as the ability for all people to have safe, healthy and clean places to live in their communities.
We seek to:
- IMPROVE housing access and quality for groups that have been unfairly denied it
- SUPPORT financing, zoning and ownership policies that help close racial and class disparities in the housing market.
This event will prepare you, our base, for the GBIO Housing Justice fight. You will meet with other like-minded folks at UP Brookline. You will hear stories from people with lived experience. Attending does not require action that night. But attend and you will learn what you can do!
