Cosponsored by Congregation Beth El Sudbury.
Tell your (and/or your family’s) immigrant story at the Coffee House, on Sunday, February 4. Together with members of Congregation Beth El-Sudbury, and members other faith communities in Sudbury who would like to participate.
Participants will share brief accounts of times when they took a stand: stands that bring people together, that overcome what might appear to be deep-seated differences; stands that are productive, and give us all a sense of hope.
In preparation for the Coffee House, we will be offering 2 dates for storytelling workshops at Beth El:
the Sunday afternoons of January 21 and January 28.
The purpose of the workshop is to help us all create focused and well-thought-out stories for the Coffee House. If you want to be a storyteller, we will ask you to register for one of these workshops. (You only need to participate in one.)
Only those who have participated in a workshop will speak at the Coffee House.
