Sunday, January 25, 10:00am-4:00pm (in person)
Open to TBZ members only. This one-day gathering offers an introduction to Dismantling Racism from the Inside Out (DRIO), a course and community of practice rooted in the Jewish spiritual tradition of Mussar. Through accessible daily practices, DRIO invites us to gently uncover and heal implicit and internalized biases we carry, both as individuals and within our communities, so that we come to know ourselves deeper and can more fully support collective efforts to bring about justice and systemic change. Led by Rav Tiferet and Ellen Krause-Grosman, both trained by Rabbi David Jaffe through the Kirva Institute, this session will introduce the Balance of Care paradigm and offer practical, spiritually grounded tools. Together, we will begin to strengthen our inner capacities to show up with courage, clarity, and compassion in a world that asks more of us every day.
Join us for a kiddush panel from former participants on January 17th to learn more! If you know you’re already in for the journey, sign up for the follow-up sessions.
