Emet (Truth) From the Inside Out: A Mussar-based Juneteenth Gathering

Juneteenth commemorates the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans, in Galveston, Texas, finally received the truth that they were free—over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. Bias can obscure truth, but Torah and Mussar teach us it can never fully extinguish it. Emet (truth) lives deep inside all of us. In this session, In this session, join Rav Tiferet to explore the middah of emet, truth and discover ways to apply it to the four domains of care: self, fellows, opponents, and Hashem.
