Community Fridge Ribbon Cutting Ceremony (in person at TBZ)

October 18, 2026
3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Please join TBZ and the Brookline Community on Sunday, October 18th from 3:30-4:30 pm for a ribbon-cutting celebration for “Jennifer CoolFridge 2,” the second branch of Brookline’s Mutual Aid Community Freedge which will be hosted here at TBZ. Community Fridges are an important part of supporting our neighbors with food insecurity. They offer 24/7 access to food with a “Take What You Need, Leave What You Can” philosophy. They are run, cleaned, stocked, and utilized entirely by community volunteers.
Join on October 18th for a community art project, refreshments, remarks, ribbon cutting, and an opportunity to stock the fridge and pantry for our neighbors. Please bring donations of food, paper products, diapers, and/or hygiene products. Information about most needed donations and how to get involved can be found here. Questions? Contact Arnie Maltz or Jane Daniels.
