POSTPONED –Colliding Dreams: The History of Zionism as Told Through the Eyes of its Inhabitants

November 13, 2022
All Day

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED.

WE WILL RESCHEDULE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

with Jan Darsa (in person only)

By using the film Colliding Dreams (and other resources) by acclaimed filmmakers Joseph Dorman and Oren Rudavsky, this session will explore Zionism’s history. We will listen to  scholars and regular citizens debate about Israel, Zionism and their connection to the land. Triggered by recent conflicts, discussion is often guided by emotion rather than substance. This film is not an attempt to provide answers, but rather to explore the questions and provoke thoughtful and meaningful discussion on this fraught topic. The film and other sources we will bring to the conversation will include a wide range of Israeli and Palestinian views. A great opportunity ahead of our January Israel trip!
