Israel Palestine Affinity Group
February 1, 10:00am-12:00pm (this meeting is in person)
Out of Gaza: A Tale of Love, Exile, and Friendship brings a Jewish Israeli author into sustained conversation with a Palestinian life shaped by the Nakba, statelessness, and forced migration. Set against the author’s own inheritance as the child of Holocaust survivors, the book places these histories in uneasy but necessary relation rather than false equivalence. It asks what responsibility, solidarity, and refusal of silence might look like when friendship unfolds inside radically unequal political realities.
All are welcome, whether or not you’ve attended previous meetings, or would be coming for the first time – and whether or not you’ve read the book! Please email
the TBZ Office to RSVP or send questions for the organizers.
