This winter, TBZ’s GBIO Core Team is launching B’Yachad (Together) in Troubled Times: TBZ Winter House Meetings Campaign – a series of small group discussions meant to identify the most salient social justice issues on the minds of our congregants. These community conversations are designed to uncover stories of meaning and purpose as we grapple with the pressures and realities each of us is facing during these unprecedented times. The information we gather will inform our social justice work here at TBZ and with GBIO, and we are eager to hear from a wide variety of voices. When we come together and listen deeply to one another, we strengthen our TBZ community, helping turn our shared concerns to collective action for a more just and caring world.
Meetings will take place on various dates in January and February 2026.
Your priorities will help shape both TBZ’s Tikkun Olam and GBIO’s priorities.
We aim to have small group conversations, so we will cap at 10 participants per session.
The sessions will be held in person and on zoom. Some in-person meetings will be in members’ homes and others will be held at TBZ. We will schedule additional dates/times based on interest and responses to this. Please fill out the Google Form to express your interest, register for a date (info about all the dates are in the form), or be connected with a TBZ GBIO Core Team member to answer any questions you have.
