Marking the Fast of the First Born: Wednesday, April 1st at 8:00am (in person)
Join us to mark the Fast of the Firstborn. We use the fast to connect with the firstborn of Mitzrayim (Egypt) by entering the holiday with our own vulnerability in mind. And, as is tradition, we will have a communal celebration for the completion of a tractate of Talmud. The morning service, begins at 8:00am, followed by learning and a celebratory (light) breakfast. We are grateful to Rabbi Lenny Gordon for offering to lead this service and learning. We need to make sure we have a minyan (quorum of 10 people). You don’t have to be a first born to join!
