Join Rabbi Sam for a special in-person outdoor Torah Study at Griggs Park in Brookline.
The sessions will use Hebrew text with English translation provided to all members of the class. Knowledge of the aleph-bet and a basic ability to read Hebrew is suggested but not required. Each session will begin with breakout rooms to enhance and practice Hebrew reading fluency. The balance of each session will explore vocabulary, grammar, and evidence for variant world views and social structure in the text. The series will not follow the weekly parasha cycle but will move at the pace most appropriate for participants. Primary focus will be on material that has alternate variants in the Torah texts.
