Poetry in the Sukkah with TBZ member Cail Casserly

Cail will lead an evening of ekphrasis, exploring the hut as a creative space, open to all members and all experience levels. Come learn about ekphrastic poetry, listen to traditional and contemporary poetry related to the chag (holiday), and create your own poetry inspired by our time together outside.
About Cail: Cail began attending TBZ in 2025, and is an English professor, poet and painter. They specialize in ekphrastic poetry, which are traditionally poems about works of art. They love being at TBZ whenever they aren’t home in northeastern Vermont, where they live in an off-grid cabin.
