This summer series will include an in-depth look at the two pairs of Genesis stories on the creation and the flood. By examining the stories side by side we will explore the common theological / philosophical elements, possible evidence of different social / cultural / geographical communities that might have told and identified with the stories, and the power of the combined stories to unite the diverse groups of the Torah world.
The sessions will also provide an opportunity for those who want to improve Hebrew reading fluency and insights into Biblical grammar and translation.
The Torah study portions of the sessions will not require Hebrew reading ability. No Hebrew reading ability required. Access the materials here.
