Steven Greenberg, Executive Director

Steven graduated from Cornell University with a Master degree in Regional Planning in 1981. Since then he spent some forty years’ working in retail, recycling, high tech, and financial services as well as being both a volunteer and staff for a number of non profit organizations. He has recently returned from Armenia after serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer there. Right before his service in the Peace Corps he served as the Executive Director of the Vilna Shul, Boston’s Center for Jewish Heritage

Cantor Becky Khitrik, Education Coordinator

Cantor Becky Khitrik was ordained in 2014 at Hebrew College (Newton Centre, MA). Originally from Washington, D.C., she holds a bachelor of the arts degree in music and religious studies from Macalester College (St. Paul, MN), a certificate of study from the Zoltán Kodály Institute (Kesckemét, Hungary), a master’s degree of the arts in religion from the Yale Institute of Sacred Music (New Haven, CT), and a master’s degree in Jewish Studies from Hebrew College. Cantor Becky maintains an active performance career as a klezmer clarinetist. She has performed internationally and has received acclaim for her technical mastery, warm tone, and unique use of vibrato. On stage, she performs with the Boston-based group Klezwoods, the international band, the Lithuanian Empire, and many other established musicians.  She has created and led special klezmer-inspired Shabbat services for Temple Emanu-El (Providence, RI), Temple Ahavat Achim (Gloucester), KlezKanada, and Yale University.  In addition to her position at TBZ, Cantor Becky holds a part time pulpit at Temple Sinai in Sharon, MA.

Beth Ehrenreich, Assistant Director

Beth recently moved back to the Boston area from Chicago. She has worked as an office manager at Camp Moshava, Wisconsin and as a sales associate at On the Go Solutions, Inc. an international phone and software solutions company. She holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and has five children and four grandchildren in the Boston and New York area.

Lindsay Eagle, Office Assistant

Lindsay is an experienced administrator and no stranger to Jewish Life, having served as Boston University Hillel's Office Manager for 4 years before joining the TBZ team. She also works at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate, a highly interactive museum dedicated to civic education and engagement, where she facilitates educational simulations. Lindsay holds a B.A. in Theatre from Suffolk University and freelances as a stage actor, director, and producer in the Boston area, most often with her company Flat Earth Theatre. Her greatest passion is for theatre and the performing arts, and using them to make a difference in the world.

Edward S. Kleiman, Bookkeeper

Ed is the principal of ESP Small Business Support. His background includes ownership of a manufacturing company, synagogue administration, and tax preparation. In addition to his business and accounting experience Ed holds a BA in Philosophy from Tufts University and two Masters in Education. Ed and his wife Nancy raised two sons in Newton. They now reside in a restored mill in Dedham.
