ted to announce that Beth Harris will be honored at this year’s Spring F
undraiser. Since joining TBZ with her husband Mitch in 2005\, Beth has bee
n a steady and devoted presence in our community\, helping to shape and su
stain the life of our congregation in ways both visible and behind the sce
nes. TBZ has been home to many of her family’s milestones: her children\
, Rachel (bat mitzvah 2008) and Jacob (bar mitzvah 2010)\, celebrated here
\; Beth marked her own adult bat mitzvah in 2009\; and most recently\, the
community rejoiced with her family at Rachel and Ari’s aufruf in 2024\,
ahead of their wedding. Rachel and Ari have since welcomed their new baby
\, Ashe\, and we look forward to celebrating this growing family together
at the Spring Fundraiser.\n\nBeth’s leadership and contributions over th
e years have been both wide-ranging and deeply impactful. From 2015 throug
h 2023\, she served as the editor of Koleinu\, guiding its transformation
from an eight-page newsletter into a vibrant 28-page publication that refl
ected the growth\, creativity\, and depth of our community. She also playe
d a central role in our Spring Fundraiser itself\, helping to chair and sh
ape these celebrations for several years\, bringing people together with w
armth\, intention\, and care. In 2021\, Beth was instrumental in building
out the content of our website\, working collaboratively with members and
leaders to gather\, edit\, and refine the voices of our community into a c
ohesive and welcoming whole. Since the fall of 2023\, she has served as co
-chair of Hesed\, where she leads initiatives such as Welcome Baby and Shi
va Support\, ensuring that care\, compassion\, and connection remain at th
e heart of TBZ life.\n\nBeth’s involvement is also deeply rooted in our
spiritual life. She is a dedicated member of our Boker Tov community\, whe
re she participates regularly and serves as a weekly gabbai\, helping to c
reate a warm and meaningful space for prayer and connection. Beth’s humi
lity\, thoughtfulness\, and unwavering commitment to our community make he
r an extraordinary honoree. We are so proud to recognize her and to celebr
ate the many ways she helps TBZ flourish.\n\n\nOur Featured Performer\nWe
re excited to welcome Anat Halevy Hochberg who will be bringing her musica
 l talents to TBZ\, along with TBZ’s Artist-in-Residence Yoni Battat\, Fa
bio Pirozzolo (percussion)\, and Evan Carley (bass).\n\nAnat is a musician
\, teacher\, and ritual leader based in Boston. Her passions include leadi
ng song\, empowering others to raise their voices\, and working to reclaim
the Yemeni melodies of her heritage. She has taught and led ritual at Let
  My People Sing!\, Eden Village Camp\, Hadar’s Rising Song Intensive\, a
nd Linke Fligl. She co-produced Tishrei: the end is the beginning and Elul
: Songs for Turning\, and her debut album\, How can I keep (from) singing?
