SUMMARY:Talking to God: an Exploration of the Psalms and Our Own Spiritual 
 Lives - Pt 2 (in person)
DESCRIPTION:Following the success of her workshop last year\, join TBZ Memb
 er Pam Greenberg for a more in-depth exploration of Psalms\, based on her 
 experiences in writing and publishing a translation of the Book of Psalms.
  This three-part class will begin with an exploration of issues we encount
 er in talking to God\, through a presentation on some issues we encounter 
 in translating the Psalms (3/30 during Kiddush). This second session will 
 involve participants either translating their own psalm (from Hebrew to En
 glish or English to English) or crafting their own psalm through words or 
 visual medium\, and the third part will involve a communal reading/show wi
 th a time for discussion with all community members who attend (4/13). The
  intention is to reawaken our relationship with God and our ability to app
 roach God honestly and authentically.
