SUMMARY:Marking the Fast of the First Born (in person)
DESCRIPTION:Join us to mark the Fast of the Firstborn. This year because of
  Shabbat the fast is on Thursday rather than on the eve of the Holiday. We
  make concrete our sense of solidarity with the firstborn of Mitzrayim by 
 entering the holiday with our own vulnerability in mind. And as it is trad
 itional\, we will have a communal celebration for the completion of a trac
 tate of Talmud. The morning service\, including the reading of Torah\, beg
 ins at 8:00 a.m. followed by learning and a celebratory (light) breakfast.
  We are grateful to Rabbi Lenny Gordon for offering to lead this service a
 nd learning. We need to make sure we have a minyan. If you are planning to
