DESCRIPTION:At the end of Shabbat Services\, T’ruah organizer Michaela Ca
 plan will briefly discuss T’ruah’s local organizing efforts and introd
 uce the Kiddush talk. The Kiddush Talk will feature leaders from Families
  for Justice as Healing (FJAH)\, a Massachusetts-based organization and T
 ’ruah’s primary local partner in their work to stop the construction o
 f a new $50 million women’s prison and to instead invest in communities 
 most affected by incarceration. FJAH’s newest staff member\, Ms. Angie J
 efferson\, who was incarcerated at MCI Framingham for over 30 years\, and 
 FJAH’s Executive Director\, Mallory Hanora\, will talk about the current
  state of women’s incarceration and their organizing efforts to transfor
 m the Commonwealth into a leading example for the rest of the country.
