 ether with dance! Join TBZ Member and Beit Rabban teacher Zach Mayer for a
 n Electronic Jerusalem Ecstatic Dance Party! Electronic Jerusalem is Zach
 's NEW project\, incorporating the sounds and rhythms he collected while s
 tudying Middle Eastern classical music in Jerusalem\, into modern electron
 ic dance music. It's pulsing– it's Ecstatic Dance/Trance. Imagine a shuk
 – of music! Performed live with synthesizer and saxophone. Suggested don

 nbsp\;\nAbout Zach Mayer\nZach Mayer has performed with John Zorn\, Frank 
 London\, Michael Alpert\, Joey Weisenberg\, and Bobby McFerrin. He plays b
 aritone saxophone internationally with Zion80\, a 10-piece Jewish Afrobeat
  band\, and his folk sextet\, Night Tree has toured in Europe and has rele
 ased two albums produced by Seamus Egan of SOLAS. He has been on the facul
 ty at the Brandeis Institute of Music and Art and Laguardia Arts High Scho
 ol in Manhattan and teaches during the summer at the KlezKanada Jewish mus
 ic festival in Lantier\, QC. He is the musical director of Kahal B'raira\,
  Boston's humanistic Jewish congregation\, and leads interactive concerts 
 of the music from his two albums Modeh Ani and Zamru\, singing with commun
 ities around the country. He recently returned from a year of studies at t
 he Center for Middle Eastern Classical Music\, and his newest project "Ele
 ctronic Jerusalem" is set to release this fall. Mayer received a master's 
 degree from the New England Conservatory in Contemporary Improvisation and
  is a member of Hadar’s 2020-2022 Rising Song Fellowship. He also has ov
 er 40 million views on YouTube for his "Subway Sax Battle." He resides in 
 Boston\, Massachusetts with his wife Eliana.
