 cstatic Dance Party! Electronic Jerusalem is Zach's NEW project\, incorpor
 ating the sounds and rhythms he collected while studying Middle Eastern cl
 assical music in Jerusalem\, into modern electronic dance music. It's puls
 ing– it's Ecstatic Dance/Trance. Imagine a shuk– of music! Performed l
 ive with synthesizer and saxophone. Suggested donation: $10.\nAbout Zach M
 ayer\nZach Mayer has performed with John Zorn\, Frank London\, Michael Alp
 ert\, Joey Weisenberg\, and Bobby McFerrin. He plays baritone saxophone in
 ternationally with Zion80\, a 10-piece Jewish Afrobeat band\, and his folk
  sextet\, Night Tree has toured in Europe and has released two albums prod
 uced by Seamus Egan of SOLAS. He has been on the faculty at the Brandeis I
 nstitute of Music and Art and Laguardia Arts High School in Manhattan and 
 teaches during the summer at the KlezKanada Jewish music festival in Lanti
 er\, QC. He is the musical director of Kahal B'raira\, Boston's humanistic
  Jewish congregation\, and leads interactive concerts of the music from hi
 s two albums Modeh Ani and Zamru\, singing with communities around the cou
 ntry. He recently returned from a year of studies at the Center for Middle
  Eastern Classical Music\, and his newest project "Electronic Jerusalem" i
 s set to release this fall. Mayer received a master's degree from the New 
 England Conservatory in Contemporary Improvisation and is a member of Hada
 r’s 2020-2022 Rising Song Fellowship. He also has over 40 million views 
 on YouTube for his "Subway Sax Battle." He resides in Boston\, Massachuset
 ts with his wife Eliana.
