 \n\n7:00-9:00pm \n\nStep into the actors’ and directors’ shoes\, expl
 oring 2+ plays over 5 weeks\, starting with A Shayna Maidel by Barbara Leb
 ow\, “…a powerful and poignant drama about two sisters trying to recon
 nect after years of separation brought on by the rise of the Nazis.” Fol
 lowed by a contrasting piece by a significant Jewish writer\, TBA\, and sn
 ippets from other works to compare and contrast. Sign-up is required\, spa
 ce is limited!\n\nParticipants will read\, explore historical context\, in
 terpret scenes\, and delve into the journey of the play and articles writt
 en about it. We will enliven each play together and discuss how theatrical
  storytelling uniquely captures the human condition and enables us to view
  the present differently. Note: No prior theater experience needed!
