DESCRIPTION:Two Parts: Sunday\, January 22 and 29th\, 2-4pm.\n\nBy using th
 e film Colliding Dreams (and other resources) by acclaimed filmmakers Jose
 ph Dorman and Oren Rudavsky\, this two-part course will explore Zionism's 
 history. We will listen to scholars and regular citizens debate about Isra
 el\, Zionism\, and their connection to the land. Triggered by recent confl
 icts\, the discussion is often guided by emotion rather than substance. Th
 is film is not an attempt to provide answers but rather to explore the que
 stions and provoke thoughtful and meaningful discussion on this fraught to
 pic. The film and other sources we will bring to the conversation will inc
 lude a wide range of Israeli and Palestinian views.
