 tion! Why is it tradition? How did it start? You can read here and here fo
 r those answers. In true TBZ style\, we'll add a twist on the tradition by
  watching the first two episodes of a new critically-acclaimed Jewish TV s
 eries: Long Story Short. While the show is animated\, it is NOT for childr
 en. Between each 30 min episode\, we'll reflect together on themes that co
 me up\, including belonging\, Jewish traditions\, Christmas culture\, and 
 more!\nChinese food dinner starting around 6pm from Grasshopper Vegan Rest
 aurant in Allston.\n\n$10-20  sliding scale for dinner (includes a Jewish
  fortune cookie!).\n\nSign up here by Wednesday\, December 17th\, open to
