Book Club
For TBZ members only.
Monthly meetings on Sunday evenings at TBZ feature lively discussions of books by or about Jewish people, alternating fiction and non-fiction selections. This year’s works of fiction include Judas by Amos Oz, Philip Roth’s The Counterlife, and Nicole Krauss’ Forest Dark. Among our non-fiction choices are biographies of Yitzhak Rabin and Leonard Bernstein; Elie Wiesel’s Souls on Fire (about Hasidim); and Naomi Levy’s Einstein and the Rabbi.
New members are welcome. Please join us at any time during the year by contacting the Coordinator at tbzbookclub@tbzbrookline.org. You may find yourself reading books you never knew about or thought to read and meeting other book lovers!
