TBZ's Board of Directors sets policy for the synagogue and is responsible for all activities undertaken by the synagogue and its staff. Bylaws of the congregation specify the composition of the board, the number of board members, and the process for their election. Presently, TBZ's board consists of 12 elected and 6 appointed members, with leadership provided by a board chairperson, vice chairperson, and our president.
Membership on the board carries with it responsibilities beyond the setting of policy. Board members often chair a committee or devote significant time on committee work or special projects.
We are always seeking people who have an interest in developing their commitment, skills and experience. If you are interested in taking a more active role in shul leadership, please contact contact the president.
