Community D’vrei Torah

No one at TBZ, least of all the rabbi, believes that one must be ordained in order to earn the privilege to read, reflect, and speak on the Torah. With some regularity, the women and men of TBZ chant the weekly Torah portion and deliver a d’var — an exploration and commentary. In preparing our d’vrei Torah, we consult Reb Moshe, who may suggest classical or modern texts; we may also pursue our own, more personal explorations, guided by the text itself.
