Zina Pelzman, Passover
Zina Pelzman writes: "Passover celebrates the exodus of the Israelite slaves from Egypt over 3000 years ago. Moses had been sent by G!d to deliver a message to Pharaoh: "Let My people go." The Israelites were told to place the blood of a lamb on their door posts. During the night, an angel of G!d "passed over" the houses of the Israelites while striking down all the first born throughout Egypt. Finally, Pharaoh let the slaves go free."
