<p>&#8220;Hineh ma tov u&#8217;ma nayim shevet achim gam yachad.&#8221;<br />
How good and skillful it is for brothers and sisters to sit together.</p>
<p>Yoheved Sheila Katz and Bobbi Isberg will lead sitting and walking meditation, chanting, optional gentle yoga and contemplative Torah study.<br />
Bring pillows/sitting equipment that you need for comfort, and a water bottle or thermos to save paper/plastic cups. We&#8217;ll provide chairs and light Kosher snacks.<br />
There is no fee for attending. All teachings, arrangements, and food are given freely. Please join us in this practice of generosity that is the foundation of our lives, giving what you can after Shabbat ends.</p>
<p>TBZ Adult Learning Committee and Nishmat Hayyim are the co-sponsors of this Shabbat meditation retreat. Donation checks can be made out to the TBZ Adult Learning Committee with &#8216;May 19 Shabbat Meditation&#8217; written on the memo line of your check.</p>

<p>May 20th work and learn afternoon in the gardens of Gaining Ground</p>

<p>When:            Sunday, May 20, 2012, 1-4pm</p>
<p>Where:            Gaining Ground Farm, 341 Virginia Road, Concord, MA (we will car pool)</p>
<p>Who:            12 TBZ members (children aged 5-16 welcome if accompanied by adult)</p>
<p>Why:            To experience firsthand a model of hunger relief and meaningful volunteerism, a chance to engage in meaningful work</p>
<p>Join fellow TBZ members at the volunteer-driven community farm that grows and donates more than 23,000 pounds of fresh food to area meal programs and food pantries.  Gaining Ground is focused on hunger relief and community volunteerism.</p>
<p>So, let&#8217;s have fun getting some dirt under our fingernails, and getting to know a fellow TBZer just a bit better.</p>
