Hesed: Shul connections

Our sages teach that the World rests on three things: the ”Reality” of Torah; the practice of”Self-Emptying Prayer & Meditation;” and a vigorous commitment to gemilut hasidim – to”Love in Action.”

TBZ’s Hesed Committee is charged with the task of performing acts of lovingkindness – taking care of members of our community. To this end, within our community we carefully attend to:

• Welcoming Newborn Babies
• Hachnasat Orchim: Welcoming Guests to our shul
• Dor l’Dor: Connecting Generations
• Bikur Cholim: Visiting the Sick
• Nehum Avelim: Comforting the Bereaved
• Bikur Haverim: Visiting Friends in Need
